???? Fall Colors Are Fading Fast — Don’t Miss Your Last Chance!
The rains are doing their work this week, pulling the last of the fall colors down from the trees. If you’ve been meaning to get out and see the bright reds, golds, and oranges that paint our mountains each year — this is your friendly reminder. You’ve only got a couple more weekends before they’re gone for another season.

Now is the perfect time to grab your camera, jump in the car, and take a drive through the Foothills and up toward Lake Jocassee. The air is crisp, the views are clear, and every curve in the road feels like a postcard.

Don’t Miss Wigington Overlook
If you want one of the best fall photos in Upstate South Carolina, stop at Wigington Overlook off Highway 107 between Salem and Cashiers. From there, you can see miles of rolling ridgelines — layers of blue mountains fading into gold and crimson valleys. It’s breathtaking, especially just before sunset when the light hits the peaks.

Bring a friend, pack a picnic, and soak it all in. The colors won’t last long, but the memories and photos will.

Make It a Mountain Weekend
While you’re out, explore some of our hidden gems — local farms, hiking trails, and lake overlooks. It’s a great time to fall in love (again) with our corner of the Blue Ridge. And if you’ve been dreaming about owning your own mountain escape, I’d love to show you what’s available before winter sets in.

???? Don’t wait — the fall show is almost over!
