Located on highway11 in Westminster, SC is the Oconee Industry and Technology Park and the home of the New Oconee Campus of Tr-County Technical College. This campus will provide easy access to businesses, residents, and industries of Oconee County. The ribbon cutting was held on August 17th, 2018 just in time for fall classes to begin.

Slated to open in 2020 is the New Career Center for Oconee County School District. This will be an amazing opportunity for local students for Technical Education, work-based learning, and economic development.

More than 80% of community college students work part-time or full-time jobs and many have family responsibilities. Community colleges offer unique opportunities for working students and new parents to enjoy the benefits of education, at a pace that fits their busy lives, by offering classes during the day, evening, and sometimes on weekends to accommodate students' work schedules and family commitments.
