Today was a great morning touring four very different Lake Keowee properties, and it really showed how much variety buyers can find around the lake depending on their lifestyle, budget, and long-term plans. From lake cabins tucked away on private drives to larger waterfront homes with room for entertaining and future expansion, each property offered something unique.

Touring Four Lake Keowee Homes This Morning

This morning, I toured four homes on and near Lake Keowee, and each offered a different way to enjoy lake living in the Western Upstate of South Carolina. Some buyers are looking for the simple lake cabin experience, where they can escape for the weekend, while others want deep-water docks, room for family gatherings, or homes with enough space for future growth. These four properties covered all of those possibilities.

203 Little Lane, Seneca, SC

The first stop this morning was 203 Little Lane in Seneca. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath lake cabin sits right on Lake Keowee with the dock practically at the back door. If you are looking for a getaway property where you can spend your weekends on the water, this one fits the picture many buyers imagine when they think of lake life.

The home features large decks for outdoor entertaining, a private drive leading into the property, and easy access to the dock from the backyard. It has the feel of a true lake retreat, where mornings begin with coffee overlooking the water and evenings end with a sunset from the deck.

Priced at $949,000, this property offers direct lake access and the relaxed lifestyle many buyers are searching for near Lake Keowee.

509 Great Oak Way, Seneca SC

The second home toured today was 509 Great Oak Way in Seneca. This property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with one major feature buyers will notice immediately: the full unfinished basement.

The basement already lends itself to future expansion with room for potentially three more bedrooms plus a television room, den, or recreation area. For buyers wanting extra space for guests, children, or multi-generational living, this creates a tremendous opportunity.

Another major advantage is the deeded boat slip, giving buyers access to Lake Keowee boating without the maintenance of direct waterfront ownership.

This property would suit buyers seeking flexibility, future growth, and lake access.

610 Highridge Drive, Seneca SC

One of the more impressive waterfront properties toured this morning was 610 Highridge Drive in Seneca. This is a large home offering 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half baths.

The property features an easy drive into the home, mature trees, and a dock sitting on deep water with approximately 476 feet of shoreline on Lake Keowee. The water access and frontage are definitely standout features here.

The home does need updating, but buyers willing to renovate could create an incredible waterfront estate in a highly desirable setting. Large lake homes with deep water docks and substantial shorelines continue to attract attention around Lake Keowee because properties like this are becoming harder to find. This property is currently priced at $2,749,500.

120 Farris Sandra Drive, West Union SC

The final property toured today was 120 Farris Sandra Drive in West Union. This older lake home offers a very functional setup with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with one bedroom and bath on each level. One of the more unique features is the presence of two kitchens, which could work well for extended family visits, entertaining, or even separate living arrangements within the same home. The property also includes a double garage and a dock on deep water, always an important feature for serious Lake Keowee buyers. Priced at $1,090,000, this home offers buyers the chance to own a deep-water property with flexibility and usable living space.

Four Different Ways to Enjoy Lake Keowee
One thing this morning reminded me of is that there is no single definition of a Lake Keowee home. Some buyers want a simple lake cabin close to the dock. Others want room for future expansion, deep water access, large shoreline frontage, or homes designed for multiple generations.

Lake Keowee continues to attract buyers because it offers all of those possibilities within one market.

Whether you are searching for a weekend retreat, full-time residence, investment property, or luxury waterfront estate, there are still opportunities available around the lake.
