Fiddlers Cove, Tamassee, SC
April means Spring in the foothills, the lakes are coming to life with flowers, and trees in bloom. We love this time of year. One of my favorite lake communities is Fiddlers Cove. While the dam is being repaired, now is a great time to build your seawall and dock on this beautiful wooded lot with a creek along one side and lake in the front. Mountain Views, sunset views and a very private setting among the 50-100-year-old trees. This lake makes a great getaway close to Clemson, Greenville, shopping, and events. Just 2 hours from Atlanta, 1 from Greenville, if you don't want to spend a fortune on your 2nd home or retirement place.
This is to show you what the area will look like when the water level is restored. And that should be by Labor Day 2019.
There are currently 15 properties listed for Fiddlers Cove prices range from $5,000 - $224,900. Ranging from waterfront lots to finished homes. Lots ranging in size from 0.75 - 12.85-acres. HOA dues are a little higher because of the road maintenance and the damn maintenance and repairs.
Fiddlers Cove Subdivision
has 85 Lakefront lots with 32 homes. More than ½ the residents are full time. The lake is 54 acres with a 35 hp limit for boats. The dam is 35 feet tall. This is a great fishing lake. Canoeing and kayaking are also daily activities for most of the residents. The road is private and just over 2 miles. Many of the residents' Fiddler’s Cove Subdivision walk around the lake for exercise. Homes are built to HOA standards and have a peaceful feel, blending with nature.
The neighborhood is unique in that the area is served by the city of Salem for water, has underground power, phone, and high-speed internet. Most of the homes have a mountain view and the ones on the east side have a mountain and sunset view.
